- Sept: Zen Cowboys, The Men Who Knew Too Much at opening night of the Festival Club, Melbourne International Festival of the Arts
- Sept: Nadoya outdoor music & butoh performance at the Melbourne International Festival of the Arts
- Sept: Shifting Images recital of traditional, new and improvised works for shakuhachi, koto, mbira and cello. The Boite World Music Cafe.
- Sept: Zen Cowboys with The Men Who Knew Too Much, for the Melbourne International Festival of the Arts, Southgate.
- Oct: recorded Jouissance CD with Veriditas (forerunner to current ensemble) and performed for the launch at Trinity Chapel, Parkville.
- Dec: Koto Australis performance of koto, shakuhachi, saxophone & percussion playing all Australian music. Premier performance of my composition for solo koto - "Inner States", The Beckett Theatre, The Malt House
