- Feb-April: Drums & Flutes of Japan 24 performances in schools throughout ACT & Victoria with taiko players Toshi & Junko Sakamoto on tour through NEXUS ARTS.
- May: NADOYA performance at Footscray Community Arts Centre.
- May: Jouissance performance as a part of the Contemporary Music Events Company (CME) series AIRTIME at Melbourne Town Hall. Recorded for broadcast by ABC radio.
- May: "Music from Japan" a solo evening recital at the art gallery of south Australia in conjunction with the Japan Three Worlds exhibition. Also five daytime performances for school children at the gallery.
- may-Jun: Drums & Flutes of Japan 82 performances in schools throughout WA with taiko players Toshi & Junko Sakamoto on tour through NEXUS ARTS.
- July: Drums & Flutes of Japan 27 performances in schools throughout QLD with taiko players Toshi & Junko Sakamoto on tour through NEXUS ARTS.
- Aug: Jouissance gives recitals as guests at three European music festivals in TRONDHEIM, Norway; TALLIN, Estonia & PARNU, Estonia. This trip was sponsored by the Australia Council for the Arts.
- Aug: School workshops at Victory Primary School in Wodonga culminating in a performance of a Japanese folk tale for the whole school by approx 70 young primary students acting, singing and performing instruments.
- Sept: School workshops at St Anne's Primary School in Sunbury culminating in a performance of a Japanese folk tale for the whole school by approx 70 young primary students acting, singing and performing instruments.
- sept-Nov: Drums & Flutes of Japan 18 performances in schools throughout Victoria with taiko players Toshi & Junko Sakamoto on tour through NEXUS ARTS.
- Sept: World Peace Day Concert at the Melbourne Town Hall, performance with the Gyuto Monks of Tibet and Sarah Hopkins. This was followed by a recording session with the monks in the SBS studios.
- Oct: Memorial performance for my good friend Sylvia Staehli who died of cancer. she was co-artistic director of Dance House Melbourne, and Dance therapist with Psychiatric patients, a choreographer/ dancer, and wonderful inspiration to many.
- Oct: Drums & Flutes of Japan 60 performances in schools throughout Tasmania with taiko players Toshi & Junko Sakamoto on tour through NEXUS ARTS.
- Dec: guest soloist on shakuhachi & shinobue with the George Dreyfus Youth Band conducted by Stephen Jubb performing the mini concerto from the 3rd mvt of the "Gemeinhardt Suite" by Smith at the Melbourne Youth Music annual concert, Melbourne Town Hall.
