- August 13: Tomoe (Trio with Toshi & Junko Sakamoto) performance in Brisbane with Shigeru Nakajima (shakuhachi), and Moto Niwa (taiko) and Batari (flutes and percussion)
- August 27-29: Performer and participant in Shakuhachi Festival in Bisei, Japan, under the patronage of Living National Treasure Yokoyama Katsuya. World Premier of new work entitled 'Life' by Anne for 6 shakuhachi, performed by Furuya Teruo, Okuda Michiaki, Seki Ichiro, Matama Kazushi, Ishikawa Toshimitsu and Kakizakai Kaoru. 'Life' was commissioned especially for this event.
