a private recital by Philip Flavin (jiuta shamisen and voice) with tea ceremony (Adam Wojcinski), jiuta mai dance (Susan Taylor) and shakuhachi (Anne Norman). Philip will recreate the unique atmosphere of the Japanese floating world with a mixture of different chamber arts, some of profound beauty, some of transient beauty, and others that are to elicit laugher.
