Jan 3 2017, Anne launched the Debut CD by Bowlines – ‘Circling Strangers.’ Ernie Gruner, Jenny Thomas, Heather Stewart — improvising violins & violas. And we had a little jam together, shak and strings. Northcote Uniting Church.

Feb 10 2017 – The Prospect and Bower of Bliss – CD launch of music by Johanna Selleck, sopranos Merlyn Quaife and Judith Dodsworth; Arwen Johnston on percussion and Anne Norman on shakuhachi. Melbourne Recital Centre.  Joe Browning’s essay/review of the Launch concert. 

Feb 25 2017, Tarerer Festival – Lighthouse Theatre, Warrnambool. Shakuhachi accompanies the Gunditjmara Brolga dancers of Warrnambool under the direction of Adeline Macdonald.

Mar 10 2017  The Port Fairy Folk Festival — The Gunditjmara dancers of Warrnambool performed their Brolga dance to a recording of Anne’s Sarus Cranes

May 12 2017  Ensō 円相 • 演奏 — world premier of Anne’s new choral work ‘The Tea Picker’s Song’ 茶摘歌 set to a haiku by Kobayashi Issa performed by Yukari Echo (Japanese women’s choir); Noriko Tadano (tsugaru-jamisen, voice); Emily Sheppard (violin/viola & voice); Anne Norman (shakuhachi & voice); guest artists Caitlin Williams (flute) & Yoshinori Kamizono (shakuhachi).  Presented by The Boite for Matsudo Week Box Hill Community Arts Centre
